Although I have no idea why the above line disrupted the install, it No problem with that, I just tried to have something fancy. Also, dotted files are not invisible from the command line :) And all the unix related apps put all their stuff there which does clutter the place quite a bit. I am very happy that with emacs22/Fink I can type Japanese and French without any problem (the default on Aquamacs was to use [alt/option] for something emacsy while I need it for inputing French on my Japanese/Qwerty keyboard.
