OER Handbook project: msg#00236education.wikieducator.general
Wayne suggested that I post about a new project on WikiEducator. The purpose of this handbook is to create a guide for persons who want to develop OER. I really think this project will be beneficial OER community at large, because it will help bring in new members. Recently we've been having trouble with our audience. Philipp Schmidt, of UNESCO, has great information regarding institution-wide initiatives. However, there is also the audience of individuals who are interested in grassroots OER development. I believe both perspectives are valuable, but addressing the two in one handbook may be difficult. I would getting feedback about the project and the outline in particular. Please let me know what you think on the outline talk page (http://www.wikieducator.org/Talk:OER_Handbook/merged_outline) Other Links: The blog: http://oerhandbook.blogspot.com/ Handbook main page: http://www.wikieducator.org/OER_Handbook The outline: http://www.wikieducator.org/OER_Handbook/merged_outline |
