Re: Please set me straight on user talk/discussion pages: msg#00226education.wikieducator.general
This is the crux of the matter - thanks, Declan for putting it so well! > In search of simplicity I was really excited when I came across an educational wiki, assuming it would be like the great wikis and therefore able to grow by cooperative editing to become an up-to-date and very comprehensive encyclopedia of education and training. But it isn't like that and therefore not able to grow like that. It seems like a load of blogs which I sadly rarely have time to read and almost never have a belief that I can usefully contribute. (I quite often contribute to "the" wiki.) So this is only my second or maybe third contribution to this wiki in the couple of years since I so happily and excitedly joined - and the corpus has NEVER been able to answer any of the questions for which I have turned to it. Greetings, all, from a gorgeous blue sky day in Birmingham, UK - Eric |
