Hello:

I'm hoping somebody can help me out with this request. I don't have
access to a credit card so I can't buy it online.

Los Angles Times 2004 July 19; Health: F1, F8. "We're all
multi-tasking, but what's the cost?"

We can pay, but if you charge, please let me know ahead of time. Thank
you.

Computer laboratories in Libraries: how does it work?

Dear colleagues, We are planning to set up a computer laboratory in our library for use by our patrons that consists of staff and students of two separate institutions served by the library (the College of Medicine and the university College Hospital). I have been charged with the responsibility of finding out how this kind of service is set up in other libraries and how it works. I will appreciate your responses on the following: 1. Are the library patrons assigned a user identification before they can use the computers? 2. How often can a patron use it? Daily or once weekly? 3. Are patrons expected to pay? 4 If no, how is the service sustained, if the computers have internet access. 5 What are the rules and regulations guiding the use of the computers in the library ___________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
