Subject: Morbidity and mortality of chemotherapy: Please Help

Dear all,

A physician would like to know the mortality rate for chemotherapy in
colon, liver, and rectum cancer patients. Specifically, what is the
morbidity and mortality that a patient with
cancer of the colon or rectum metastatic to the liver incurs with
intravenous (not intraportal venous, but systemically iv)
chemotherapy?

I am having trouble finding this answer. I have tried calling the
national institute of cancer, the national health statistics, and have
searched on their websites, and searched on Pubmed and Ovid. The
National Health Statistics says these statistics do not exist because
of
the death code. Cancer patients die of cancer not of chemotherapy or
surgery. I was wondering if any of you can help me find some kind of
answer or help me with ideas. Please contact me at

Thanks,
