The Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries invites applications and
nominations for the position of Community Health Education Center (CHEC)
Librarian. VCU Libraries seeks an energetic and creative individual to
manage a 2,200 square foot community health resource center located in
the VCU Health System on the MCV Campus of the Virginia Commonwealth
University. The CHEC Librarian must be public service-oriented, exhibit
a high degree of independence and professional judgment, and will create
an environment that meets diverse health information needs
confidentially and efficiently. The successful candidate will join a
culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber.
Required: ALA-accredited graduate degree. Salary: $40,000 minimum
