Consumer Health Libraries in Hospitals: msg#00433education.libraries.medlib
Hello all, I am looking for some information on Consumer Health Libraries in a hospital setting. For those of you in this setting, can you answer some questions for me please? 1. Is your consumer health library within the medical library or is it a separate entity? 2. What kind of staffing do you have if it is a separate entity? 3. Do you have all types of materials eg: books, magazines, videos, CD-ROMs, DVDs, etc.? 4. If so, do you have the equipment necessary to use these materials? 5. Do you allow check out of materials or is it strictly in library use? Any and all information anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your thoughts and input.
