Oops....I assume the above is incorrect and below is correct:

   Kłaczkow Krzysztof

If so, I can't make it work on my end either.  Do you know for certain
what character set the z3950 server is returning to Emilda?  Sorry for
asking this, otherwise I don't know how to help.
