It seems that you are using Davids debian packages of Emilda (correct

and thus I would still need the
/etc/emilda/z3950-servers.ini file to make sure that your mapping is
correct. Wolfgang assumed that you were using the "normal" version of
Emilda and thus requested your MARC.inc file, which in the case of the
debian package does not give us any information.
If you still could post this file, I could possibly decipher what
might be wrong.
Hello, Christoffer.
Many thanks for your answer. I just never hit on looking into
z3950-servers.ini. (I am kompletely new to YAZ/zebra :-( ) I added
[YAZ_attributes]
'084' = "1=1040 t=l t=r t=n t=b s=al"
(I used "att 1040 Custom classification" in bib1.att)
and
[CCL_names]
'084' = "other_classification_numer"
and everything works fine so far.
Turns out that I was not correct in expecting that solving my problem is
a one-liner - it's a two-liner ;-)
Now I have to figure out, what "t=l t=r t=n t=b s=al" means, but I will
find some documentation somewhere ;-)
Anyway, many thanks again for your help.
No problems. Good that things worked out!
Regards,
Best regards,
Maximilian
