client for browsing the library

I've been playing with Emilda a bit,  and I've used it to catalog our 
library.  So far, I'm liking what I've seen, as far as managing the library 
goes....
I'd like to know if anyone's got a suggestion for a client for library 
borrowers to use to browse the collection...  I've tried creating a 
read-only guest account, but I don't think that's the best solution.
Also, if you're logged in as a read-only user, and after doing a search, you 
click on a link to edit an item, it logs you out with a statement that 
you're not permitted to do that....
