I need to learn better reading skills. I only now noticed the mod_perl
issue.

I'm not familiar with how to use mod_perl or when it would be
appropriate, but with some help, I think I can add mod_perl to the
debian emilda package.
I have some questions:
1. Do you think the debian emilda package should (from strongest to
weakest) require, recommend, or suggest mod_perl?
2. What would the appropriate emilda mod_perl configuration look like?
Perhaps something like the following?
<IfModule mod_perl.c>
<Location /cgi-bin/emilda>
AddHandler perl-script .pl
PerlHandler Apache::Registry
</Location>
</IfModule>
Are there other mod_perl specific configurations for emilda?
