RE: sagepub.com avoids EZProxy |
By the way, is there a less tedious way to handle sagepub URLs? We
subscribe to a large number of their eJournals.

You didn't show us your config in ezproxy.cfg, but keep in mind that you
need to include a separate H line for each journal to which you offer a
starting point URL. For example:
T Sage Journals
D sagepub.com
H asj.sagepub.com
H aas.sagepub.com
H aeq.sagepub.com
Etc.

Does anyone know of any special configuration needed to work with
sagepub.com? Currently we are doing proxy by host, but with this site
the connection does not use the correct proxied hostname, but the actual
hostname for the site. In other words, in the process of contacting the
Sage web site, the user loses the proxied connection and so is denied
access to articles.
Thanks,
