We were one of the sites that relied on insufficient ID security for
a long time. While we prepared for transition to LDAP, the web admin
interface to EZproxy 3.4beta helped us tremendously in spotting and
blocking unusual activity. My own knowledge in this area went through
a very rapid transformation in the months during which we were battling
data pirates from all over the world. We still use these features,
mostly to spot valid users who are having login problems because of
the change to LDAP. They're still trying to knock down the doors, but
my life has become much easier.

I look forward to even more features in EZproxy 3.6.
