There is a conspiracy, perhaps by printers, perhaps by
typeset companies, to flood the market with unneeded
print products. For example, the schwa sound is the
same whether produced in a stressed or unstressed
syllable. Don't listen to these people. They are
against a standardized phonemic alphabet of English
for China, profiting from the sale of umpteen-plus
versions of methods and curricula. NUL uses the
upside-down V for the -eu (French) sound in 'book'.
