Hi Bill,

Thank you for correcting the mistakes in my e-mail.

Yesterday I had the chance to talk with a friend from Guatemala who is 
learning English. It was wonderful but I was very nervous.

I did my best to talk with him but I didn't recall the right English 
words. I wanted to reply to him immediately but I didn't know what I 
should say.

The phone call was soon finished. We couldn't keep a conversation going.

I think it was a very important development that I talked with him even 
though the conversation was brief. I hope I get many chances to talk in 
English with friends in this group.
