have little chance to use any foreign languages. Japan seems to

and those who go to college or university study it for 4 years
more, but few of us can speak English fluently. This is because
we, Japanese can do without any foreign languages in our daily
life. 
But now most people in Japan have their computers connected to
the Internet. I think it will become more and more important
for us, Japanese to learn English, because on the Internet,
English is widely used as a universal language or a common
language to share our cultures or ideas with people world over.
Anyway, using English or other languages, I want to communicate
with many people all over the world, and to learn different
cultures or customs from ours.
I will be very happy if we members on this list would talk on
various topics each other in order to improve our English
knowledge.
