Re: Hello Friends,To Learn English Properly and Accuratly Where to Start ?: msg#00025education.english.belajar-english
Greetings from Los Angeles to Irfan and Everyone Else in This Group! In my studies of German and Swedish I found it helpful to get books that are written for children about ages 10-13. The vocabulary level is not too high. The structure of the sentences is relatively simple. And you also have a chance to see what is going into the heads of young people in English-speaking cultures. Actually, there was a large series of "Nancy Drew" mysteries written in the 1930's that is still popular. Nancy Drew is a 12-year-old detective and the stories are quite entertaining. (Look up Nancy Drew on Google). The language level is perfect for an advanced beginner and intermediate English learner. There is a lot of repetition of vocabulary. The books are still being published and they are relatively inexpensive. Another good type of book to read is Reader's Digest. It is written for adults, but at the reading level of people 14-16 years of age. Maybe you can find used copies for not too much money. I hope these ideas help. All the best, Sherm http://www.feeds.feedburner.com/EslAloud --- In BelajarEnglish@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "tribute2lov" <tribute2lov@...> wrote: > > Greetings My Friends. > > First Step Towards English Learning ?
