Subject: Re: [Fwd: Ctrl-^]

Hi,

Where would I find such binaries? I don't see older Tiger binaries except for Vim 6.4 on the website.

you'd have to compile them yourself...but Stephen Riehm already confirmed that this didn't work before 7.0.138, so at least this is not my fault :-)

Many years ago, when I was the maintainer of the Win32 ports of Vim, I made Vim accept Ctrl-6 as a synonym for Ctrl-^ (Ctrl+Shift+6 on US keyboards). This behavior must have been propagated into the gtk version of gvim at some point. Now it's deep in my muscle memory and I get frustrated at having to type ":b #" or ":e #" instead.

As I said, I'll take a look.

Bye,
Nico
