Re: tabular - horizontal width

Thanks for your pointer.
I think what I actually need is a tabular* instead of the
tabular environment (and with rubber space), but I don't think that is
possible in lyx.

I would like the equivalent of 

\noindent\begin{tabular*}{\textwidth}{@{\extracolsep{\fill}}|l|l|}
a a a a a & b b b b b b \\
\end{tabular*}
