I for one would be opposed to files loading out of sequence when they can't
be found, but:

sounds like a really nice idea if it can be cleanly implemented.
A step back: it's funny that no matter how much we love and endorse
EditPlus, we still have ideas for improvement, and it never costs us more
that ~$30/license! Good stuff.

Can you use this to call the remote build?

I think that the virtual file idea, as you've described it, is too
complex and error-prone. What about EP asking if you want it to
remember the "missing" files and adding them to the list of open files
when it closes?
