Subject: tiled windows .. can one be frozen, the others tabbed? - msg#00060

I am trying to create the equivalent of a fixed palette (with various
components) which can be used to modify code in another open window.

i.e. the equivalent of a "drag and drop component" across windows.

The idea is that the palette window (right hand pane) is displayed in
browser mode .. and buttons and other components in palette window can
be selected to be copied into other window(s).

Could (somehow) one window be frozen in place (the palette window),
whilst other windows are tabbed (there will be multiple windows)?

I realise that this might not be feasible.

Do you want to remove HTML mark-up from a piece of C++ code (like for syntax highlighting on a web page)? dZ. -- "Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
