Hi John, Thanks for posting those screen shots. They show everything I'm seeing, and they confirm I'm doing the steps correctly. What's really confounding is that I can go down one folder to folder 2002, and select its 1033 file, and the replace bitmap dialog opens fine. Also, in the bottom right hand pane of the Replace bitmap dialog box, your last screen shot shows a list of the other folders in the EditPlus bitmap directory. If I get the Bitmap dialog to open for one of the other files, and then select folder 2000 from that list, Res Hacker crashes.
