Hello:
I understand, and there's not much you can do about it, except change
those comments and put a space after the first *. The alternative, of course,
is to set the comment string as a plain *, but then you run into your original
problem; EditPlus will always highlight as a comment a line containing the
comment string and ignore any other keywords set with that same string. I
guess this is by design, as the logic might be too complicated to have EditPlus
treat as comments those lines containing the comment string -- except if they
are defined as keywords too. It would certainly slow down the highlighting
engine.
