[edit+] user tool problem

I have an external program as a user tool (HTML validator) but have 
tried to add another (a MSDOS program compiler)for another project.  
It works only once when added but disappears when I reopen EditPlus 
again!!  No sign of it in the drop down menu or in preferences (and I 
set it up through permanent settings).  Tried it several times. Any 
ideas?
