Re: [edit+] No display of Windows path: msg#00002editors.editplus.general
I did not find any effect on alt-tab behavior in win2k with "Working Directory Follows active document" checked or unchecked. >From the help file, this option apparently "changes the working directory automatically to match the active document." I have noticed the following: -if I open one document Alt-Tab does not include the path. -if I open any number of other documents of various file types (.txt, .html, even .gif) at the same path, Alt-Tab does not include the path -but when i open up a document in another folder of any file type, if that document is the active document (i've only got one instance of editplus going here) Alt-Tab only shows the name. but if i make the first document the active document, Alt-Tab shows it with the full (and truncated) path. Thus it seems that if any files open in editplus live at the same path as the most recently open file, then they will show up in Alt-Tab with the filename only. All other files living at paths different from the most recently opened file will have their path displayed in Alt-Tab.
