Hi
I just did some tests on MSIE6 and its dom/js implementation and I have
to say it just sucks compared to Mozilla :(
- getElementByTagNameNS et al. is not implemented
- importNode is not implemented
- prototyping is not that advanced as in Mozilla. I was not able to
specify setters/getters and even worse, I couldn't add methods to the
Document resp. Element prototypes...
There are workarounds for this, bclary has its own dom2 implementation for
example. I will look further into that and I'm sure, we will find a
solution. If someone knows more about this stuff, please let me know.
And once more, big thanks to the mozilla developpers for their great
browser :)
