I know, it may be hard. There is some documentation for Prism chipset,
and lots of it applies to the other supported chipsets:

Some information was extracted from vendor supplied drivers, such as
wavelan2_cs.

Just because I'm maintaining the driver now doesn't mean I wrote a
significant portion of it.
