ornoco/prism usb + 2.6.16: msg#00005

Subject: ornoco/prism usb + 2.6.16
Just tried to build orinoco from cvs to get a driver for my W200 to
work with the new 2.6.16 kernel I built. I'm using Gentoo and the
orinoco-9999 ebuild that gets everything from cvs.

Anyway, when I try to build the orinoco drivers (including usb)
against 2.6.16, I get the following:

make -C /usr/src/linux M=/var/tmp/portage/orinoco-9999/work/orinoco
KERNELRELEASE=2.6.16-gentoo modules
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.16-gentoo'

Its related to struct usb_driver.owner, but not sure what the fix is.
I'm still looking into it, but figured I'd post to the list to get the
collective wisdom going...
