I was asked to forward a description of a problem I have with the
Orinoco driver to
this list.
The driver works without any flaws in 2.6.11 (Slackware 10)!
The driver doesn't work in 2.6.12 and onwards. I haven't tried the
incremental releases
between 2.6.11 and 2.6.12.
I use a Zyxel ZyAIR B-100 PCMCIA card. When I boot in 2.6.12+ the
Link led blinks "in
bursts" - usually a couple of short blinks, then a long, repeat.
Network traffic isn't
transmitted (ie. I cannot ping my access point/gateway).
I don't know what kind of debug messages to send. I have attached:
- dmesg in 2.6.11 and 2.6.13-rc4
- lsmod of modules in 2.6.11 and 2.6.13-rc4
I'm ready to supply more - just ask! :-)
