Sorry, I was busy with other things.
I have removed variant 2 support and almost all references to "variant"
from the driver. I also have simplified the algorithm for the variant
address - now it's simply taken from bytes 0x359-0x35a. The old code
looked for a jump to 0x358 and used the next byte, which is no more
meaningful, and potentially less reliable. For 100% reliability one
would have to integrate an intelligent D51 disassembler into the
driver :-)
I have also updated the list of the supported devices using the driver
you mentioned.
I couldn't find any references to 0411:000b other than a page in
Japanese probably saying to replace 000b with 000d in orinoco_usb.c, so
I'm assuming 000b was a typo. Supported Melco/Buffalo devices are now
0411:0006 and 0411:000d.
