I have two of these cards and I am having firmware trouble. The cards
both have version 4.00 primary firmware. and they did have 6.04
secondary firmware.. This secondary firmware was not working with the
driver ( i know its the secondary firmware the driver downloads to use
in linux) I got the firmware upgrades (which only work on win98 and me)
and i had to hex edit the lucent flashes and the LUC identifier to RBT
so they would flash the cards. I have flashed the cards with every
secondary fimrware from 6.04 to 8.72 and every time i try and load them
in linux it says something about downloading a bad firmware from the
cards so they wont work. Has anyone used these cards before? what
secondary firmware works? if multiple firmwares work, which is the best
to use for the cards? but the main question is why is it the driver is
saying every firmware is bad? Any help would be appreciated. If someone
would tell me what commands to run i would include the output in
another email. Thanks!
