I am a newbie to this group.
I am modifying the Orinoco driver
for some measurements in our wireless testbed. In particular we need to measure
the errors and the time loss due to errors in a multi ap environment. (i.e I need
to measure errors only when multiple rts’s are sent with no cts and hence
the packet/frame is dropped)
Looking at the source code .. I think only two functions
are called If this event happens Its either __orinoco_ev_txexc or orinoco_tx_timeout
. Could anybody please explain when these functions are called ? and the distinction
between these functions.
I am sorry about the basic nature of these questions, But I did
try a small search on the archives before posting …
