WDS ports

Hello,

I am new to this mailing list. I know that to write the device driver there should be some help from the device manufacture. From where to get device driver programmers guide for the devices based on Hermes chipset.

 

I am very much confused about the WDS ports. What is meaning of these ports ? Are they physical or logical ? How one can use and what are benefits of using such ports?

 

will this driver work for cards having PRISM2/2.5/3 chipset having only station firmware?

 

any clarifications would be appreciated........
