dstooltk_2.0-5_i386.changes is NEW

(new) dstooltk-dev_2.0-5_i386.deb extra devel Dynamical System Toolkit development files DsTool Tk is a tool for the investigation of dynamical systems. It is an efficient research tool that integrates a friendly graphical user interface, data management capabilities, a rich set of numerical algorithms together with the flexibility to add more algorithms and communicate data with other programs. . This package allows you to build a customized version of DsTool: you can add models, create accompanying animations, or write your own computational code. dstooltk_2.0-5.diff.gz to pool/main/d/dstooltk/dstooltk_2.0-5.diff.gz dstooltk_2.0-5.dsc to pool/main/d/dstooltk/dstooltk_2.0-5.dsc dstooltk_2.0-5_i386.deb to pool/main/d/dstooltk/dstooltk_2.0-5_i386.deb dstooltk_2.0.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/d/dstooltk/dstooltk_2.0.orig.tar.gz Changes: dstooltk (2.0-5) unstable; urgency=low . * QA upload. * Built as a non-native package. Closes: #44248. * src/utilities/file_util.c: Call fclose() only if the file is actually open. Fixes a segfault when printing to file. * Converted to debhelper. * Packaged the my_dstool framework as dstooltk-dev (not much point in splitting up further: -data and -source would be ~50 KB each). * Completed the FHS transition: /usr/lib/dstooltk/bin/$ARCH -> /usr/lib/dstooltk/$ARCH /usr/lib/dstooltk/help -> /usr/share/dstooltk/help /usr/lib/dstooltk/oogl -> /usr/share/dstooltk/oogl /usr/lib/dstooltk/tcl -> /usr/share/dstooltk/tcl /usr/lib/dstooltk/src -> /usr/src/dstooltk/src - Set DSTOOL to /usr/share/dstooltk, with symlinks to the rest. - Set ARCH to the GNU system type rather than `linux', allowing users to share a my_dstool tree across architectures. * Updated the description to reflect that dstool and dstool-doc have been removed from the archive. * Changed priority to extra, catching up with the override file. * Added menu support. * Compiled with tk8.3. * config/Makedefs.debian: Set MKDIRHIER to `mkdir -p', removing xutils from build dependencies. * debian/rules: Determine USER and HOST from debian/changelog to avoid bogus version information with autobuilders. * debian/copyright: Add upstream URL. * debian/changelog: Remove obsolete Emacs local variables. * Conforms to Standards version 3.5.6. Announcing to debian-devel-changes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Closing bugs: 44248 Your package contains new components which requires manual editing of the override file. It is ok otherwise, so please be patient. New packages are usually added to the override file about once a week. You may have gotten the distribution wrong. You'll get warnings above if files already exist in other distributions. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qa-packages-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Bug#159003: gravitywars or svgalib crashs

Package: gravitywars Version: 1.102-22 I have a "normal" Woody i386 installation. Nothing installed that's not available in the stable woody release and i normally dont have any problem with the system. Gravitywars was installed with dselect and it depends on svgalib so that was installed as well (and might actually cause the problem) When I try to start gravitywars from an ordinary shell I get the error messageyou must be the owner of the current console to run svgalib.SVGALib is installed and seems says "Using SIS driver" which is correct. When I try to run gravitywars as root the computer crashs completely (black screen you cant do anything anymore) i am using kernel 2.4.18-bf24 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qa-packages-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with a subject of "unsubscribe".
