Thanks for the hints. I've now added the URL.

Regarding the licence I'm not quite sure: The author uses the GNU
_Library_ General Public License 2.1 or later but
http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/ states "has been superseded by the
Lesser GPL." and http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/lesser.html says "It
also counts as the successor of the GNU Library Public License,
version 2, hence the version number 2.1."

If I interpret this correctly than referring to the _Lesser_ GPL
would be ok (as the successor, by the "or later" clause, and because
there is not even a version 2.1 of the _Library_ GPL). Is this
correct?

I've now changed the reference in debian/copyright to point to the
LGPL.
