Package: slapd
Version: 2.1.30-2
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks unrelated software

Critical Bug #244827 has been closed for a while now, but the fixed package
(2.1.30-3) is still not in testing, so this bug is still alive, and in my
opinion, shouldn't have been closed.

Sorry if it is the wrong way to report this issue, it is just a way to say
"there's sth wrong here".

Cheers,

Fabien

Yeah, so, even after it's in testing it'll be on people's computers, and
on snapshot, so I guess you can't ever close any bugs, eh?

Yes, it's the wrong way to report this issue. Bugs are closed when
fixed packages are uploaded to sid. The new slapd packages will
eventually make it into testing, provided we have fewer idiots filing
ridiculous RC bugs which slow down the migration from sid to testing.

Stephen
