rats has some (probably limited) support for PHP. As far as I could see
from a quick glance at the source, it only scans for certain function
names and does no further checking, though. It also has a lexer for PHP,
which might be useful(?) Anyways, as you're the maintainer of rats, you
probably know all that already.

Maybe you can incorporate your script into rats (or any other tool for
that matter), so we have only few (useful) tools instead of lots of
small scripts all over the place.
