Package: php5-intl
Version: 5.3.3-7
Severity: normal

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Hi,

php5-idn has been installed for a long time as a dokuwiki dependency. When trying to install roundcube from experimental, it needed php5-intl, so I pick up the version in squeeze. And voila:

root@belette:/etc/php5# php
PHP Warning: Function registration failed - duplicate name - idn_to_ascii in Unknown on line 0
PHP Warning: Function registration failed - duplicate name - idn_to_utf8 in Unknown on line 0
PHP Warning: intl: Unable to register functions, unable to load in Unknown on line 0
Erreur de segmentation

There are two workarounds. Either remove php5-intl, or comment the line in /etc/php5/conf.d/idn.ini that loads explicitely idn.so. I didn't manage to find the link between the two. But this is very annoying, since installing both package makes apache crash.

Hope it doesn't arrive too late for squeeze release…
