- Using UnixOdbc with other Apps: msg#00000db.unixodbc.devel
I've installed unixOdbc and mdb tools in order to be able to access an Ms access db . I'm able to do so successfully with mdb tools and the installation of unix Odbc has been successful as well. However I'm now trying to connect to the db with DBvisualizer ( a Java application ) using jdbc-odbc bridge. This is where I'm lost. How do I make the odbc be recognized by the jdbc-odbc bridge? . what is the correct configuration for a 3rd party app to use the Odbc in order to connect to the db.
