- FDB: commit: msg#00006db.unixodbc.devel
I have just committed a number of changes to cvs - all of which are for FDB. The main thing is the introduction of a proper language parser for ifdb command-line tool. The parser is based upon flex/bison and the language is xBase (the very beginings of anyway). ifdb now supports a tiny set of commands; use list display set filter to skip go At this point I mostly await requests for new FDB API stuff from developer, 'db', to support the SQL Egnine (i.e. catalog/schema functions). I will also add more support for xBase syntax and address other details. Peter BTW: I have tested the DBFIO and DBTIO (using ifdb) with dBase III Plus (with dBase running in dosemu) and, after addressing incompat date in dbf header, everything seems to work very well. So DBFIO/DBTIO seem very compatible for dBase III Plus :)
