Hi there.  Yes, I have been doing some cleanup, and I was hoping to grab
the latest unixODBC from cvs later today, in order to look at your
recent work.  I expect plugging in the SQL engine should not be that
difficult.  At the minimum, very basic functionality should be there,
while the more advanced stuff (select with GROUP BY, etc.) may require
more work.  

As a first step, creating a C interface on top of the engine should be
straightforward (famous last words...).
