So I don't understand what is my problem :
My application worked well with a server using an older version of FreeTDS
but we just put the application on a new server with FreeTDS 0.61 and it
doesn't work.

Do you think the problem may came from PHP's configuration on the new server
?

FreeTDS doesn't send dates to SQL server in any format!

The date format in locales.conf specifies the character format you wish to
see dates in when they are RETURNED from the server.

FreeTDS sends 'readable' SQL strings to SQL server, for example

update #mytable set christmas = '25/12/2004'

but the construction of that string is the responsibility of the application
that is calling FreeTDS...

Hello,

I've a problem with the date format and freeTDS.
I'm french so the format I want to use is dd/mm/yyyy but FreeTDS always send
date to the MS-SQL Server interpreted in the english format mm/dd/yyyy. So
when I want to record 14/11/2004 it fails.
I add french [fr_FR] and date format = %d %b  %Y %H:%M in locales.conf and I
used setlocale(LC_TIME,'fr_FR'); in my scripts but It still doesn't work.

Does someone have any idea ?
