RE: Freetds\sql server lag

Moshe,

increasing the packet size is not only possible, but positively recommended
for SQL server 2000.
If memory serves me correctly, on the server side the default packet size in
SQL server is 4096, so that's a good choice.
You can do this with the freetds.conf file
