Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. more...

Subject: RE: SQLPrepare, SQL Execute fails on SQL 7 but works o n SQL 2K

The calls used UnixODBC and our own "wrapper" on top of that. Our wrapper
would throw C++ errors IF an error was encountered. We seem to be getting
an error from the SQLPrepare, as you can see, but it isn't getting returned
as an error from FreeTDS/UnixODBC. What is strange is that this works fine
on SQL2K, but seems to throw a server-side syntax error under SQL 7 when
calling sp_prepare. All prepared statements on SQL 7 fail with a syntax
error, but only when called from FreeTDS/UnixODBC.

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem with msodbc.

I look dump and saw some problems
- prepare call looks fine but mssql complaints... strange. Can you try with
msodbc and a packet capture so I can fix it?
- you call another SQLExecute without checking first. I hope this is a test.
However second SQLExecute used a wrong id. Fixed in CVS. On failure to
prepare
we didn't reset dynamic, also in token.c we save a garbage id.
