The port number is the giveaway -- that's the port used by one of the recent
Microsoft worms (the DCOM one).  Although the worm made use of UDP port 4444,
and TDS would be using TCP port 4444, many firewall administrators started
blocking port 4444 willy-nilly.

Check with the people who administer your network.  Probably some sort of
general block has been placed on all ports 4444.  I suspect you'll have to
change the port number of your server to get past this hurdle.
