Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. more...

Hi,

I have face exactily the same issue. I have got rid of this error message forcing the use of a "." as a decimal separator.

I got this through this menu:

Global Preferences -> Data Type Controls (it is a tab)

Then you scroll down and under

"FLOAT, REAL, DOUBLE, NUMERIC, DECIMAL"

     You chose

"Use default format (3.14159)"

But the funniest thing is that this workaround was only needed immediately after install.

Once you have made a connection without the error message you can return the setting to whichever you prefer.

I hope this can help someone.
