Comparing Data across platforms

We currently have a process that allows users to enter data into a Oracle Database and have it sync to a DB2 Database on an AS400.  I can currently query the data using SQuirrel in both environments.  Is there a way to 'join' the two connections to run comparisons queries of the data?
