Good morning, Gerd and Rob, You are both correct. I see now the filename contains my URL. The connection string I got to connect to the db is very long. I reckon it must be somehow old-fashioned, because I've been using also a more compact syntax with Oracle. Anyway this conn.string is what my dba uses and distributes. I have just found a helper site connectionstrings.com and will try to translate the string into something more manageable. I could even do a favour to my dba ;-) I looked for the files everywhere on the hard disk. They're simply not there. Gotta make my URL shorter.
