SQuirreL SQL serialized Java objects viewer/editor: msg#00034db.squirrel-sql.users
Hi all, I use an 3rd-party application that saves data to RDBMS tables as serialized Java objects. The data type in the database is BLOB. The feature I would like in SQuirreL-SQL would be to double-click on the BLOB data while viewing in the Content tab and have it open as the deserialized Java object. In most cases, these objects have reasonable toString() methods and would be viewable. I am possibly interested in writing a plugin to perform this, but want to make sure the functionality does not now exist in SQuirreL-SQL or a plugin. Thanks, David Druker druker@xxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
