Re: can not see Japanese chars

Do the following:

1) Open Windows Control Panel
2) Double-click on Regional and Language Options
3) Select the Languages tab
4) Check both boxes under Supplemental language support. (be sure your 
XP cd is in your cdrom drive)
5) Click apply

After the install you will need to reboot.
